All shops asking for repair or a new TAS processor for an Airbus Helicopter must identify this on the order.

All Airbus TAS processors have a different software code, failure to order correctly will result in immediate errors upon installation.

- to avoid delays in processing it is important that the shop provide accurate details of the aircraft.

I purchased a helicopter Airbus EC-130. It came with a TAS-610. When looking at the STC the installer used. Now I'm in doubt if that equipment the TAS-610 can be used or not in a helicopter and if there is an STC for the EC130 rotorcraft.

Avidyne does not hold the STC for the TAS-6xx installation aboard Rotorcraft. The STC Is held by Airbus.
The installing agency should have an FAA Form 337, or similar document, Field Approval.
Check the aircraft's logs and documentation pertaining to the systems installation.
The TAS-6xx Series IS Approved for installation aboard Rotorcraft.
