If you are experiencing any un-commanded button or touch screen presses going on, please verify the Bluetooth keyboard that came with the IFD is not paired and still hanging out in the aircraft. 

It is very common that folks forget about these and they end up in-between the seat rails. The battery on these last a very long time, and once it has been paired one single time it will pair each time the IFD is powered on.
